Official Cancellation Policy

  • There are no makeup lessons nor can tuition be refunded for lessons that are missed for any reason.

  • If you notify your teacher in advance that you will need to miss a lesson, your teacher will provide you with a written and/or video assignment in the Student Portal. With advanced notice of an absence, you also may have the option to schedule a live video lesson, subject to the discretion and availability of your teacher.

  • Any lesson missed due to the teacher's absence will either be refunded or rescheduled at a time convenient for you and the teacher.

Discontinuing Lessons

  • Students can withdraw from lessons at anytime.

  • Any pre-paid tuition is nonrefundable so please plan accordingly.

  • Notice of discontinuing lessons may be submitted in person or by email to mymusic@libbynationmusic.com

  • We assume that all students will continue weekly lessons and each month's tuition will continue to be charged until notice is received.

Studio Closings

School Holidays: Music lessons are NOT cancelled automatically when local school systems close for holidays. Please refer to the studio Calendar for our list of scheduled holiday closings.

Emergency and Inclement Weather: In the event of a local emergency or inclement weather, Libby Nation Music makes decisions regarding lesson cancellations independently of local school districts. We consider the safety of our students and teachers our top priority. Notification will be given via email or phone to all students affected.

Late Arrival

Please allow adequate time for prompt arrival to your lesson. Late arrival will result in an abbreviated lesson and any missed time will be forfeited.
